The Cornerstones In Finding A Reliable Used Car

Before you start phoning dealerships in search of reliable cars for sale in Pretoria - read these two rules. Golden Rule #1: The Golden Service Book When you inquire about a car you’re interested in buying, the first question you need to ask is to get pictures of the service book.  A vehicle which has been properly maintained (serviced on a regular basis) is always a good indication that the condition of the vehicle is better than 1 that has not been maintained.  It’s commonsense! Golden Rule #2: Patience is Golden Be patient when searching. Do your research Don’t get pushed into a buy Rather be sure you’re buying a reliable car for sale from a dealership in Pretoria than buying a piece of junk which will give you problems I know these 2 rules seem simple, but I have seen what happens is they are ignored. It’s not pleasant! Of course, always browse the available used cars at a reputable dealer like Group 1 Cars .   Article sourced from: https://pre-ownedsmarts.p...

Used Toyota Corolla: What’s It Like?

Image
Buy a Toyota Corolla for sale and you’ll hardly become part of an exclusive set: there have been more than 44 million of them sold over the last 50-odd years and 12 different incarnations. Welcome, in fact, to the world’s best-selling car.  After such world-wide success, it may come as a surprise to learn the Corolla nameplate actually disappeared from UK showrooms for almost 10 years, only re-emerging in 2018. Filling in the gap was a reliable but rather bland car called the Auris - a Corolla by any other name. Unlike the Auris, its replacement here has been subjected to a healthy dose of the stylist’s pen and contains within its longer, wider, lower and stiffer bodyshell a wealth of new technology aimed at stealing sales from Europe’s finest family hatchbacks. You can also have it as a more practical estate, in a Touring Sports version.  Under the bonnet, Toyota offers a 112bhp 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine along with two versions of the car powered by its petrol-e...

Insane and Interesting Facts About Cars

The Lincoln Town car is the last US luxury car to still use body-on-frame construction, as opposed to a unibody frame, which allows it to be easily lengthened, explaining the car’s full domination of the limousine market.  Norway has very strict rules on advertising cars as “green,” saying “cars can do nothing good for the environment except less damage than others.”  When Oprah gave the audience cars back in 2004, they were not really free. Ways to make your car last longer

Image
The RAC's top tips for prolonging your car’s life and keeping running costs down. RAC have compiled 13 detailed, but easy-to-follow, tips to help you make your car more efficient, nicer to drive and last longer. Many seem like straightforward common sense, but you’d be surprised how few drivers adhere to them all. 1. Change filters regularly Your car’s oil filter and air filter become clogged over time, thus renewing them regularly is important. They should be replaced as part of scheduled servicing, but both are relatively simple jobs – particularly an air filter swap – so you may wish to attempt them yourself. You could save money on servicing if so. You can often prolong the life of the air filter by washing it, too. Consult your handbook for advice on filter cleaning and changes, and be sure to use genuine parts. Cheap, poor quality filters could damage your engine in the longer term. 2. Drive smoothly… most of the time Driving with mechanical sympathy ...
